All student drivers who are under the age of 18 are required to have a minimum of 50 hours of supervised practice. Included in that is at least 15 hours of practice at night and at least 10 hours in moderate to heavy traffic. All student drivers aged 16 and 17 will be required to present to a road test examiner a completed certification of 50 hours of supervised driving MV-262.
